Right to object to data collection in particular cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS DONE ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUBMIT AN OBJECTION ON GROUNDS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION AGAINST THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. In as far as you request the direct transfer of the data to another data controller, this is done only to the extent that it is technically possible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries, that you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, erasure and rectification

Within the scope of the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to information free-of-charge about the stored personal data concerning you, the origin and recipient of these data and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of these data. For further information about these and any other questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the Imprint.

You have the right to demand the restriction of processing of your personal data. If you require further information at any time on the restriction of data processing, you can contact the address given in the Imprint. The right to the restriction of processing arises in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the correctness of the personal data we have stored, we normally need time to check this. During the period required for checking, you have the right to demand the restriction of processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data is/has been done illegally, you may demand restriction of processing instead of erasure.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need them for the assertion, defence or validation of legal claims, you have the right to demand restriction of processing instead of the erasure of your personal data.
  • If you have submitted an objection in accordance with Art. 21(1) of GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. For as long as it cannot be established whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand the restriction of processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may – apart from being stored – be processed only with your consent or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or on the grounds of an important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
